Just a quick update on the injury front for our readers:
LA Lakers: Pau Gasol is expected to return to the lineup tonight after resting his knees for a couple weeks. He should help take some of the pressure off of Kobe on offense and if the Lakers can effectively use the high/low post game it should result in some easy buckets for their 7-footer duo (Gasol and Howard). Also for the Lakeshow, Steve Nash returned to practice and will look to come back from a leg fracture this weekend. His addition will be the most impactful as the Lakers currently have questionable NBA players starting at point for them.
NY Knicks: Amare Stoudemire returned to practice for the Knicks and is apparently OK with the bench role he is likely to receive. His return could be as soon as this weekend. As long as Amare understands he is no longer "the man" on the team and rather just a supporting player, his addition should only help the Knicks already deep veteran team.
Boston Celtics: Defensive Ace Avery Bradley returned to practice Monday. Look for him to comeback sometime inside of two weeks. GM Danny Ainge has hinted at a potential warm up game for Bradley with the team's NBDL affiliate, the Maine Redclaws.
